Queen Matilda of Enkland (Anna Matilda; March 24th 2675 - May 26th 2762) was the Queen of Enkland for 18 years, and paternal grandmother of the current King of Enkland, Charles.

Early Life Edit

Anna Matilda of Leck, known as Matilda in her family, was born on the 24th of March 2675, on Enkland. Her father was Francis of Leck, the eldest son and heir of Duke Alexander. Matilda's mother was Mary of Leck, a paternal grandaughter of King James III of Kahzland. Matilda had two older brothers, one younger brother and three younger sisters. Matilda's youngest sister, Mary, died age 3 in 2687. Matilda named her only daughter after Mary.

Marriage and Children Edit

In 2694, Matilda met Prince Christopher of Enkland, who she instantly fell in love with. Both Christopher's and Matilda's families approved of the match, so they got married on the 25th of March 2696. Christopher and Matilda had 2 sons and a daughter:

Her children produced her 11 grandchildren.

Queen of Enkland Edit

On the 11th of March 2737, Matilda's father-in-law, King Geoffrey, died. Christopher was crowned King, and Matilda crowned Queen, soon after. Matilda and Christopher spent many years of their reign touring various planets and going on trips to allied worlds.

Widowhood and Later Life Edit

Matilda's husband, Christopher, died on the 13th of December 2755. Matilda's son, Ewan, was crowned King Ewan, and Matilda was made Queen Mother. Matilda remained living in The Great Palace with her son and his family until her death. She became infamous for her increasingly grumpy nature as she entered old age. Matilda lived to meet 9 great-grandchildren. Matilda died on the 26th of May 2762, at the age of 87.
