Morte-Malattia is a horrific disease in The Ollieland Galaxy.
Morte-Malattia is a rare disease, which is currently uncurable. If you are diagnosed with Morte-Malattia, there is a 99.3% chance that you will die, and if you do survive, a 99.998% chance you will never fully recover.
In the first week, the infected person losin begins losing blood through different ways. They cough up blood, they sneeze blood, they throw-up blood daily, and in extreme cases, even cry and sweat blood.
After about a week, the victim begins getting paler and losing lots of weight. There hair also begins to turn gray, no matter how old they are.
At this point, it is far too late to be rescued from the disease. The victim's face has started showing lots of wrinkles, and the flesh is sagging. The eyelids are constantly half closed, and the pupils have turned gray. Their hair is completley gray, and begins falling out. There are lots of dark bags under their eyes. They also start finding it difficult to walk.
By now, all there hair would have fallen out or turned white. Their pupils have become a light grayish colour, and their skin if cold, clamy and a very pale brownish-gray. Their vision is very limited, and now they can't walk at all, and are confined to a wheelchair or bed. They have continued to lose weight.
By the time they have reached Stage 5, the victim is more or less a zombie. They are blind, deaf, can't smeel, can't speak and can't walk. Their pupils have vanished and their eyeballs have turned a dark red, if you can see them under the hundreds of sagging, dark bags. They are extremely wrinkled and all hair, including eyelashes and eyebrows, has fallen out. They are exceptionally thin, looking like a skeleton with a layer of skin warped around the frame. Their nose has more than likely drooped or even fallen off. It will not be long before they die from this terrible disease.
